Los Angeles — Curatorial Proposals
Curatorial proposals developed for private residential and hospitality environments in Los Angeles, positioning contemporary artworks in dialogue with architecture, materiality, and atmosphere.
The selection brings together works by Christian Poire and Mariana Valenzuela, exploring contrasting approaches to painting, ceramic, bronze, photography, and textile-based practice.
From Poire’s From Moctezuma’s Zoo series—including oil paintings and a hand-painted ceramic door with bronze detailing—to Valenzuela’s woven photographic work in iridescent paper, presented behind museum-grade glass and framed in pink pepperwood, each proposal considers the artwork as an integral element of the spatial experience.
